DESCRIPTION

Menopause is one of the most significant transitions in a woman’s life — physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Yet it remains one of the most overlooked areas in movement education and clinical support.

This training recognises menopause not as a decline, but as a recalibration — a time of re-evaluation, re-organisation, and re-establishment across emotional, spiritual, and physical dimensions. It is a period where the connection between the body and emotional state becomes undeniable, and where breath and movement become essential tools for regulation and resilience.

Why This Work Matters

Menopause is not a niche demographic — it is a life stage that every woman will enter, yet few movement professionals are trained to support it effectively.

With the right knowledge and programming, Pilates becomes more than exercise. It becomes a structured, breath-led system to help women move through this transition with greater ease, clarity, and physical confidence.

This workshop is grounded in current research and shaped by clinical movement experience. It is designed to give instructors practical tools they can apply immediately, along with a deeper understanding of how to support this population with respect and precision.
